This policy explains what information Undetectable AI collects, why, and how it's handled. We built the app around one rule: collect only what's needed to run the detection, humanize, and account features — nothing more.
01 Information we collect
We collect four categories of information, only as needed for the app to function:
Account information
Your email address, used to create and sign in to your account via Firebase Authentication. Only Gmail addresses are accepted.
Content you submit
Text you paste, or text extracted from PDF/DOC files you upload, to be checked for AI-generated content or rewritten ("humanized").
Device identifier
Your device's Android ID, used solely to limit how many accounts can be created from one device and prevent abuse of free-plan limits.
Usage & subscription data
Daily check counts, word-limit usage, and subscription status (free or Pro), used to enforce plan limits and manage your purchase.
We do not collect your name, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, or any data unrelated to the features above.
02 How we use it
To detect whether submitted text is AI-generated, and to rewrite ("humanize") text you submit.
To create and authenticate your account, and keep your plan and usage in sync across sessions.
To enforce free-plan word limits and daily check limits, and to prevent one device from creating unlimited free accounts.
To process your Pro subscription purchase through Google Play Billing and confirm your entitlement.
To save a local history of your past checks and humanized results directly on your device, so you can revisit them.
To respond if you contact us for support.
We do not use your submitted text or account data for advertising, and Undetectable AI does not show ads.
03 Third-party services
To provide detection and humanizing, the text you submit is sent securely to the following processors. Each handles only the text needed to return a result — it is not used by us for any other purpose.
AI detection API
Analyzes submitted text and returns an AI-generated probability score.
Humanize / rewrite API
Rewrites submitted text to read more naturally, paragraph by paragraph.
Firebase (Google)
Authentication, account & subscription data storage, and app configuration.
Google Play Billing
Processes Pro subscription purchases. Payment details are handled by Google, not by us.
These providers may process data on servers outside your country. We only share the minimum data each service needs to function.
04 Storage & security
On your device
Your detection and humanize history is stored locally on your device only, using encrypted local storage. It is not uploaded to our servers, and is removed automatically if you uninstall the app or clear it yourself from within the app.
In the cloud
Your account email, subscription status, usage counters, and device identifier are stored in Firebase (Google Cloud infrastructure), protected by access rules that restrict data to your own account.
We take reasonable technical measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
05 Data retention
Submitted text is sent to the detection/humanize APIs only to generate a result and is not retained by us afterward.
Local history stays on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
Account data is kept while your account is active, and deleted upon request (see Your choices).
Device identifier records are kept to enforce the free-registration limit and are not linked to your identity beyond that purpose.
06 Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the service providers listed in Third-party services, each strictly to deliver the feature you're using, and where required by law, such as in response to a valid legal request.
07 Your choices
Clear local history anytime from the History tab inside the app.
Delete your account by contacting us at the email below — we'll remove your account and associated data from our systems.
Manage or cancel your subscription anytime via Google Play → Subscriptions.
Sign out anytime from the Account tab; this does not delete your data.
08 Children's privacy
Undetectable AI is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will remove it.
09 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the app after changes take effect means you accept the revised policy.
